Edson LEAP

The Edson LEAP Centre runs targeted short term groups for younger children and families.  Interest and demand determine when these groups are offered.  Some different groups that we offer include:
- Say & Play - a program aimed at supporting early language and play skills between caregivers and young children.
- Get Ready for Kindergarten - a group to help children prepare for the transition to Kindergarten.
- Literacy - a group to provide additional opportunities for young children to develop early pre-literacy skills.

Further Community Information: 

Alberta Education - Early Childhood Services (ECS) provides programs to young children prior to grade 1.  Here is a link to their website.  To find out what ECS includes and to find out eligibility for additional supports and services, including but not limited to the Program Unit Funding grant, please reach out to a local school authority.  Edson area options include:
