To help fill a gap in our community we have partnered with the Edson LEAP Society to provide parent-child indoor and outdoor play groups. These are funded through Grants that the LEAP Society has been able to secure and donation of space by the LEAP Centre. All groups follow current AHS guidelines.

Speech &
Language Therapy
Edson LEAP Centre offers full speech and language services to families and individuals along the Yellowhead corridor. In home, clinic or virtual services are offered privately or through FSCD and PUF contracts. Our Therapist, Michelle Campbell has over 25 years of experience with children. Your services will be fully customized for your child depending on their needs.
Occupational Therapy
Edson LEAP Centre offers full Occupational Therapy services to families and individuals along the Yellowhead corridor. In home, in clinic or virtual services are offered either privately or through FSCD and PUF contracts. All services are customized for each family and child. We have two OTs, Anna Vander Haeghe has over 22 years of experience working with children with all types of needs and recently Skylar Birkenhagen has enthusiastically joined the OT team!
Respite Services
Families can rely on the Edson LEAP Centre for a variety of respite options for their child/family. This can include small group respite, summer camps, individual respite, after school respite and over-night respite options. We provide skilled respite workers for families to choose from depending on their needs.

Preschool - PUF services
Our skilled local therapists can support your 3 or 4 year old child who is receiving PUF supports in their pre-school setting. Their school must contact Edson LEAP Centre or the therapist directly to inquire about availability.
Children's groups
On hold at this time due to Covid 19. We have offered groups including: integrated peer groups, literacy groups, language groups, sensory detectives group and more.
Our skilled therapists support PUF eligible kindergarten students through school contracted OT and SLP services. Brighter Futures Private School Kindergarten program and YKCS kindergarten programs were supported in the 2020-21 school year.
